no more shopping.

again i have decided to let the photos do the talking.
i've strayed off from the 'all-you-can-shop' track and am focusing on the cultural (and sometimes filthy) side of Hongkong.
its a less taken track, but i figured i cant possibly shop all 5 months. I still want me dad to fund me when im in uni..HAHA.

Thrift shopping has definitely taken a back seat, haven bought a new piece of clothing for god knows how long.


Met up with 2 business studies girls who are now my new buddies as we roam HK (they do the kowloon island and i do the hongkong island). THEY ARE SWEET BABES AND I SWEAR LIFE IS BETTER WITH THEM.

ONLY SELECTED BUSINESS GIRLS ARE BITCHES AND ONE OF THEM HAS ACTUALLY TRANSFERRED TO MASSCOMM.(Bing you should get what i mean). seriously that bitch doesnt even deserve a place in NP!

My mum is currently in ShenZhen so obviously im a little bit happier cos LOVE is around every weekend.
Uncle koon also visited, which came as quite a surprise, meeting him was the usual laugh-all-the-way and bitch-all-the-way event. When he saw my house he coulden stop saying: 'smaller than a maid's room smaller than a maid's room'.
YES uncle koon, i know!

After the NARS make-up event (and spending nearly HK$500!!!!!) we decided to do something that won't cost too much.

moving on to 'The day Tong went back in time'.
I love love this dress i got in Central (Vintage as usual lah..)
went to work one day with that dress, and a very 60s hair-do and i totally felt like i stepped out of the wrong era.



It looks even more 60s with the straw bag! absolute madness, hey watch out for my vintage cocktail party when i get back !

everyday is a different day.


sometimes its a 'i miss keat' day, sometimes its 'i love H & M' day, sometimes its 'thrift shopping' and occasionally, its 'lets stay at home day'. My mood varies from time to time, normally i think of a certain person and get by the day by thinking of that person.

if you even get what i mean.

tonight, its ' i miss xinyu day'.

highschool memories, volleyball, teachers, long walks to school, mad dash to shopping malls and alot of squabbling.
today is very simply 'i miss xinyu day'.



who are you missing today?

i love my friends.

its public holiday tmr, will prolly make my way to some distant outlying island for some fresh air.
greenery, long walks and the peaceful what-nots.

life in a buzzing city gets too happening for me, adding on to all the bright lights - the neon street signs all over HK - it really kills my eyes.

i miss a cup a good tea latte, a soulmate and a good read.
most of all, i miss talking face-to-face with someone who knows me.

the constant emails makes life (the social parts) bearable, and skype is one of the best things ever.
