in a middle of an isolated place mum now calls her HOME.
a little bit hard to absorb, a little to harsh for me to imagine.
i let myself go and stop thinking about the endless responsibilities back home.
i stop thinking about rushing home to cook and take care of whatever mum left behind.
instead, i wake up observing mum, my mum.
in the hostel, i hide under the blanket, pretending to be asleep.
from the corner of my eye, im always watching mum doing her STUFFS.
hanging the laundry, washing ehr face, applying toner..
observing her, knowing that im right beside her.

i woulden call this a dream vacation destination.
China is old, not 'old' as in full of culture.
but old as in vintagy old.
it's like a vintage product that has been left on the shelf for far far far too long.
nobody touches it, so it's filled with dust.
although vintage is the 'in' thing now, not many people can appreciate this kind of old product.
it's beautiful in a way hard for me, a teen, to see.
i question everything here.
How they live, how they work..etc.
i even start questioning my own life, and lifestyle.
to clear my doubts, i always end off my thoughts with: IM JUST LUCKY TO BE A SINGAPOREAN.

how do u differentiate a singaporean and a China person?
look at the armpits.
Singaporeans shave, regardless of whatever they wear.
hmm, the other counterparts have a habit of raising up unshaven armpits.
well, so having MANY uncountable 'hair' is kinda cool in chaina huh?
maybe i shoulden have brought my shaver along for the trip.
In the car.
obviously, china dont have ankle socks.
it took me just 10 mins to realise that.
every female on the road who wears socks..
will be wearing nude colour stockings that are not exactly NUDE(since i can still see that they are wearing STOCKINGS.)
just imagine ..stockings with 'Sports Shoes'.
stockings with pumps.
Stockings with high heels.
stockings with slippers.
that's why i say singapore is kinda SLOW in catching trends.
we caught the leggings, but din catch the stockings.
maybe i should go start the trend in spore.
the beauty magazines wil be delighted to be able to start a new 'worst dressed list'.
